Craig Scott Promoted To New Head of Client Management at Russell Group, As Adam Murphy Steps Down
We are delighted to announce that Craig Scott has been promoted to the role of Head of Client Management at Russell Group. Craig has more than twenty-two years of experience of the London Market, and a thorough and well-rounded knowledge of the direct and reinsurance classes of business.
He is therefore well placed to manage the needs of Russell’s fast growing client base, which now numbers twenty-two companies across thirty-six lines of (re)insurance business.
Craig has focused primarily on aviation to date, but he also brings a wealth of Specialty expertise in consultancy, data analytics and insurance products into an exciting period, not just for Russell, but for the (re)insurance market as a whole.
He will be ably supported by a strong Russell team, which has doubled in size over the last two years to support the needs of underwriting and broking clients which are increasingly relying on data and analytics solutions to support their business needs.
Craig’s enthusiasm and passion for the world of (re)insurance will play a major role in Russell’s strategy of continuing to support the needs of its existing clients and new corporate client base whilst helping to transform the (re)insurance industry to meet the new demands of the increasingly complex global business environment.
After four years working in a variety of roles, Adam Murphy will step down as Head of Client Management at Russell Group after serving out his three months’ notice period and plans to take some time out before deciding what to do going forward. He will be missed by all the team at Russell.
We would like to thank Adam for his efforts in helping to grow the client base and capabilities within Russell and we wish him every success in his future endeavours.
