Unless underwriters tackle accumulation risk and bind, control and embed it into their culture they will end up with accumulation risk across hubs. An underwriter in one location might accumulate risk with other people across the organisation. The problem is often that there isn’t effective communication across companies – it’s a huge issue for today's increasingly hard-pressed underwriting community.
